Change Tour ends when The Alarm play a benfit for The Towyn Flood Victims in Prestatyn, North Wales. Even though the band would be back in 1991 qit ha new album, this was basically the end of The Alarm as a functioning band with a real manager and real record company support.
The Alarm are offered a support slot with Tom Petty, but IRS refuses to pay for it. Change did not sell as well as expected, and IRS did not want to send the band on another huge tour. It would be their last, best chance to reach a wider audience.
