This year’s Gathering NYC offers a packed itinerary of exciting The Alarm, Mike Peters and Love Hope Strength happenings in Manhattan, NY over the four day weekend of June 22nd – June 25th 2023.
Thursday June 22nd 2023 – Rough Trade, New York
“Living for today” – Forwards by The Alarm
First up on Thursday June 22nd, is a special event to celebrate the North American release of Forwards (which is released globally on June 16th), with an exclusive Mike Peters / Alarm Acoustic set at the Rough Trade NY record store at Rockefeller Plaza from 6pm onwards. Alarm fans and all Gathering ticket holders are invited to attend with the option to purchase LP or CD copies of Forwards for signing on the night.
“Performing at Rough Trade is a great way to kick start The Gathering New York” says Mike Peters. “I’m particularly excited to be able to celebrate the release of Forwards during its opening week with fans from all over North America who will be descending on Manhattan for the shows at The Gramercy Theatre”.
NB: Due to high pre-orders, Fans are advised to pre-order copies of Forwards in advance.

Friday June 23rd 2023 – Gramercy Theatre, New York
“Whatever’s trying to kill me, makes me feel alive” – Next by The Alarm
Friday night June 23rd at The Gramercy Theatre will feature The Alarm in concert on stage from 9pm with doors officially opening at 7pm. Official Gathering proceedings will begin at 7:30pm with a very special US debut film presentation of the highly charged and emotional mini documentary ‘Back To Life’ that was first screened at the UK Gathering this year. Back to life will then be followed by a unique solo electro-acoustic performance from Mike Peters with a short break before the house lights go down for a second time, and Mike Peters leads The Alarm out on to The Gramercy stage for a full on electric set featuring all the classic Alarm songs and more.
NB: All Gathering ‘Weekend’ pass holders will be presented with their commemorative laminates upon entry to the venue on June 23rd.
“Friday night in New York promises to be an emotional evening for the Alarm US Family”, continues Mike. “If the feelings generated by the screening of Back To Life in January is anything to go by, then we are in for a special evening indeed. After the film, I will be taking to the stage myself and bringing a flavour of the British Alarm Acoustic tour to proceedings and playing songs that will be unique to Friday night’s event before leading the full band out on to the stage at 9pm. After all that has happened and probably more than ever before, we intend to give all we have and make this an unforgettable New York Gathering concert.”
Saturday June 24th 2023 – Gramercy Theatre, New York
“The same but different” – Beautiful by The Alarm.
Saturday night June 24th at The Gramercy also promises to be another beautiful night for Alarm fans in New York with the doors opening one hour early to allow weekend pass holders to attend the band’s soundcheck from 6pm. There will be a Q&A with all the musicians and the chance to hear a few songs that won’t get played in the main set. (NB: Fans attending at 6pm must have a full weekend pass / commemorative laminate to be able to enter the venue early).
Official Doors will open at the usual time of 7pm and at 7:30pm there will be a World Premiere screening of a very special Alarm film celebrating the history of The Alarm from 1981 to the present day (this is a must see!!!!!). The film screening will again be followed by a Mike Peters Alarm Acoustic set. After the interval it will be time for The Alarm to hit the Gramercy stage for a second time, ready to rip it up in true Alarm rock and roll style!

Sunday June 25th – Central Park
“It ain’t over ‘ til it’s over” – Love Don’t Come Easy by The Alarm
Complete the New York Gathering in style with a short hike through Central Park to ‘walk and talk’ in the name of Love Hope Strength on Sunday 25th June.
This free-to-join stroll will give you the opportunity to hear more about the impact that the Love Hope Strength Foundation continues to have on people affected by cancer across the globe, chat with Mike and the rest of the band, and enjoy a song or two.
We’ll be meeting at Bethesda Fountain / Terrace from 11:30 am for a relaxing 90 minutes walk around the lake via Strawberry Fields.

All Gathering NYC Weekend ticket holders (who are attending both shows), will qualify for a special commemorative Gathering NYC 2023 Laminate Pass which will be presented upon arrival at the venue on Friday June 23rd 2023.
