New Years at The Red with Mike Peters

December 29 / 30 / 31 2023 and January 1st 2024

Spend New Years with Mike Peters and family at The Red, Dyserth, Wales and start 2024 in style.
An intimate New Years weekend with events from December 29th through to January 1st 2024.

“There’s nowhere else I’d rather be…” ‘Whatever’ by The Alarm. Words by Mike Peters.

New Years at The Red begins on Friday 29th December with your host Jules Peters welcoming you to The Red for a special night of dancing and socialising along with a DJ set from The Alarm’s Mike Peters, playing a full-on analogue 7” vinyl mix of New Wave, Glam Rock, Brit Pop, Northern Soul and Old Skool Disco, all chosen from the Peters’ family record collection.

Saturday 30th December will see the ambience of The Red turned up to the max with a Mike Peters live acoustic concert featuring Alarm classics from across the decades. The Red Bar will be rocking from 7pm until late, with drinks and cocktails served by both Peters’ sons, Dylan and Evan ap Michael.

Sunday 31st December is the New Years Eve Party Night at The Red with Mike Peters on the DJ deck spinning the sounds that will take us into 2024 and the start of the beginning of another year of ‘Alarm’ing rock and roll adventures. As the clock counts down to 2024, Mike Peters will herald the new year arrival with a special song and at the stroke of midnight, a live rendition of the traditional Auld Lang Syne. The New Year Fireworks will light up the night sky above The Red and the ever flowing waterfall. Church bells will chime with music and good vibes will kick start our 2024 to set us on the path of new hope, dreams and vision.

All of this can be yours and all comers and everyone are welcome to attend throughout the weekend including the Friday night DJ session.

A concert ticket is required for entry to the Mike Peters Saturday Night Live Acoustic Concert on December 30th. Tickets are SOLD OUT!

If you are planning on attending the Sunday Soul Session and / or the New Years Eve Party on December 31st, please let us know in advance so you can be placed on the guest list as it is guaranteed to be packed to The Red rafters!

Weekend accommodation packages at The Chapel are also available including a concert ticket for the Saturday night concert and guaranteed admission to all other nights of entertainment and festivities at The Red with Mike Peters and family.

The Red Bar and coffee shop will be open throughout the weekend and visitors will also have the opportunity to attend a host of wellness and wellbeing classes such as Yoga, Pilates and Soundbath Therapy in the Red Studio. (To view the session timetable and book a class in advance, please visit The Red Studio booking site here).

On New Years Day January 1st 2024, there will also be a late morning informal communal walk / hike with the entire Peters’ Family (including Golden Retriever – Ziggy Stardust), from The Red to the nearby trig point at Y Graig which overlooks the entire North Wales Coast. A great way to start / make those New Year Resolutions before returning to the Red for coffee, tea, refreshments and final hail and farewells on the first official day of 2024.
