London Heathrow Airport
Airport to/from Central London
Heathrow Express operates a direct rail service from the airport to London Paddington. Stations are located at Terminal 4 and in the central terminal area, serving Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Journey time is 15 minutes between Paddington and Terminals 1, 2 and 3, 23 minutes to Terminal 4. Trains run every 15 minutes from 0510 to 2340 hours every day. Through tickets can be purchased from many mainland stations to the airport via Heathrow Express.
The London Underground Piccadilly Line connects central London with all four terminals (Terminal 1/2/3 and Terminal 4). Through single and return tickets can be issued to customers travelling via a Rail terminus in Zone 1.

Sample journey time from Piccadilly Circus to the Airport is 50 mins. There are also bus links to Rail Stations/Airport: A2 to/from Kings Cross, St Pancras (British Library) and Euston.

Other direct services to/from Airport
A coach service, Green Line 724, runs throughout the day between Heathrow, West Drayton, Uxbridge, Rickmansworth, Watford, St. Albans, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Hertford and Harlow. Tickets can only be purchased on the coach. A frequent bus service (route 140) runs 24 hours between Hayes & Harlington and Heathrow Airport (Central Bus Station). London Gatwick Airport
Gatwick has its own railway station underneath the South Terminal. Access to the North Terminal is via a free transit. Direct train services also serve many parts of the country.

Airport to/from London

Gatwick Express operate a dedicated non-stop service every 15 minutes throughout the day to/from London (Victoria) and Gatwick Airport.
South Central operates frequent trains throughout the day and hourly throughout the night to/from London Victoria and Gatwick Airport.
Thameslink operate direct services throughout the day between Kings Cross Thameslink, Farringdon, City Thameslink, London Blackfriars, London Bridge and Gatwick Airport (generally every 15 mins). A reduced frequency between London and Gatwick operates through the night.

London Stansted Airport

Stansted Airport has its own railway station right in the heart of the airport terminal building. The Stansted Express is a dedicated rail service operating between London Liverpool Street and Stansted Airport station. Fastest journey time is 41 minutes, with an intermediate stop at Tottenham Hale to enable transfer onto the Victoria Line (London Underground) for the West End. Occasionally services may be diverted via Seven Sisters at weekends.

Central Trains operates an hourly express service seven days a week between Birmingham and Stansted Airport calling at Leicester, Peterborough and Cambridge offering connections with services to Yorkshire and the North East. For further information telephone 08457 48 49 50.

The airport is also served by an hourly service from London Victoria, Airbus A6 calling at Victoria Coach Station, Victoria Station, Hyde Park Corner, Marble Arch, Marylebone Station, Finchley Road/Hendon Underground Stations and then non-stop to the airport and Airbus A7 calling at Victoria Coach Station, Westminster/Embankment/Bank/Aldgate/Mile End Underground Stations, Stratford Station, Redbridge Underground Station and then non-stop to Stansted Airport.

London Luton Airport

A frequent dedicated shuttle bus links Luton Airport with Luton Airport Parkway station – journey time 5 minutes. Luton Airport Parkway is served by frequent Thameslink services direct to Bedford, Central London, South London, Gatwick Airport and Brighton. Midland Mainline services link Luton Airport Parkway with St Pancras and Leicester, Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield. In addition Virgin Trains provide an hourly-dedicated coach link between the Airport, Luton railway station and Milton Keynes Central railway station and town centre. Also WAGN operates a frequent daily coach link service between Hitchin and Luton Airport.

Manchester Airport

The airport station is right in the heart of the airport complex, linked by a covered escalator. The station is served by up to 6 trains per hour from Manchester Piccadilly and direct services operate between Sunderland, Middlesborough, Nottingham, Derby, Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle, York, Leeds, Huddersfield, Cleethorpes, Doncaster, Hull, Meadowhall, Sheffield and the Airport. Additional regular services operate during the day, to/from many stations.
