In honour of the forthcoming November 1st release of Mike Peters’ self-penned autobiography LOVE 1959-1991, Publisher A Way with Media and 21st Century are pleased to announce that Mike Peters will host an exclusive Alarm Literary Week at The Red, Wales from September 22nd – September 28th 2024. Presenting for the first time anywhere in the world, his brand new autobiography LOVE 1959 -1991.
Throughout the literary week, Mike Peters will unveil the book for the very first time and take participants through the entire 1959-1991 time-line, telling his incredible story and presenting illuminating tales and passages from an extraordinary life as a musician, family man and cancer survivor.
Each evening will be dedicated to a particular era of the book and will also feature a classic acoustic album performance from the time span of LOVE 1959-1991.

As the literary week will be Mike Peters’ penultimate headline concerts ahead of a life-saving stem cell transplant, the events will be conducted in a controlled environment and so the first entry point will be via a season ticket purchase enabling fans to attend all SEVEN events.
The Alarm Literary Week with Mike Peters Season Ticket is priced at £200 and guarantees entry to each of the seven evening events, along with a chance to secure best seats in the house. Season Ticket Holders will also be presented with a commemorative laminate.

All remaining individual evening concert tickets will go on sale a week later priced at £40 each and £45 for the Saturday Night BEST OF Finale which will be held at Dyserth Community Hall.

LOVE 1959 -1991 is part one of an autobiographical trilogy entitled LOVE HOPE STRENGTH written entirely by Mike Peters with LOVE 1959-1991 Volume One to be launched on June 7th 2024 and officially released on November 1st followed annually, by Volumes Two and Three over the course of the following years.
Each volume of the book will present a complete, accurate and thorough document of Mike Peters’ entire life and the passage of time he has lived through. The 158,000 word VOLUME ONE takes listeners on a fascinating journey through the 60’s and 70’s, documenting the formation and dramatic rise of The Alarm in the 1980’s and on into the early 1990’s.
