All three ‘Bank Holiday Weekenders’ promise to be grand occasions with Mike Peters and the band aiming to pull out all the stops.

“I love occasions like this,” says lead singer Mike Peters. “One of my earliest known songs is called ‘Bank Holiday Weekend”, inspired by the fact that the bank holiday weekend has always been a special event for British people and so, to be able to play these shows when everyone is on a high, having time off work and making time to express themselves with family and friends, makes for a very special kind of atmosphere. Concerts at this time of year have the potential to bring out the best in both band and fans, creating the kind of ambience that everyone feeds off.  I’m looking forward to making these concerts something really special indeed.”

With The Alarm currently on tour in the UK, the three ‘Bank Holiday Weekenders’ are likely to be the band’s only UK shows (apart from The Gathering & Festivals), in 2018.

The official in store and online release of Blood Red Viral Black is due for early 2018 when The Alarm have a March concert tour across mainland Europe with Irish Dates set for April.

The Bank Holiday Weekenders will bookend both US Gatherings in New York and Los Angeles before the band return to North America for another marathon summer tour with other parts of the globe to follow.
