This years Snowdon Rocks event – Go Green For A Day – was a huge success.
Our start point for the walk was the Pen Y Ceunant Cafe and our lovely host Stephan providing early morning tea!
Mike set the tone with a quote from George Mallory and a rendition of Without A Fight before we started our quest. With each step the skies cleared and the weather is the best we have experienced in the 5 years the event has been running. Our first stop at the half way house cafe gave us the first of a large collection of songs for the day from the catalogues of Mike Peters, The Alarm, Chris Summerill, Big Country and Coloursound.
As we reached the summit the skies cleared completely with amazing views not seen that often from the summit.
Snowdon Rocks continues to be the key event in the LHS UK calendar and has raised in excess of £150,000.
