Back at Good Earth Studios , The Alarm record a new single to capture the current sound at the time (i.e “Frankie Goes To Hollywood”). Alan Shacklock produced the track. All agree that it was a failed experiment.

Spirit Of ’76 single released. Reaches #22 on the UK charts, #29 on the USA charts.
