The first version of “Blaze Of Glory” is recorded with Mick Glossop in Redan Studios, London. The song was written as a defense for their new friends U2, who were being attacked in the press. “Thoughts Of A Youngman” is also recorded.
Back in 1981, The Alarm was being hailed by some as the next Clash, but just as many were tagging the band as phony Clash poseurs.
