The Alarm Experience 40 – Rock and Roll Staycation Concert Series series will run throughout the entire second half of 2021, including all the major celebration events such as Halloween, Bonfire Night and the run up to Christmas, including a very special Alarm Christmas Gathering Weekend (SOLD OUT). The concert will take place at Dyserth Hall and feature a special live performance from Mike Peters un-alarmed-and unplugged.
“Now the world is opening up again and we have been starting to come together as an Alarm audience through the Staycation Weekends, the 6 weekends we have experienced so far have been incredible,” enthuses Mike Peters. “Spending quality time with people who have followed The Alarm’s music through thick and thin has been inspiring, especially hearing the individual stories of how The Alarm’s music has affected peoples’ lives and the inspiration taken from the songs and lyrics has been very special for me personally. Telling the story of The Alarm through the Big Night In has also been fascinating, along with the Saturday night concerts which have been driven largely by requests from those in attendance. As a result, each show has been completely different, taking us all on a truly emotional and personal journey through the Mike Peters / Alarm songbook. It has already been a privilege to play these first six weekend shows and I now look forward to performing even more throughout the remainder of 2021 and on into 2022. The rock and roll still burns in me.”

Throughout the remainder of 2021, Mike Peters will be inviting fans to his home village of Dyserth, North Wales to be part of THE ALARM EXPERIENCE 40, a unique Staycation Concert Series which will celebrate 40 years of Alarm History 1981 – 2021 via a program of weekly Big Night in ‘Friday’ Night broadcasts and intimate ‘Saturday’ evening acoustic concerts, all to be held in Mike’s home village of Dyserth, North Wales.
Fans who book The Alarm Experience 40 will be invited to become part of the Big Night In Broadcast / Alarm Central Live Telecast which will be going live around the world every Friday Night throughout the course of The Alarm Experience 40 weekend concert series.
As Mike Peters reveals,“The idea of touring and playing ’normal’ packed out Mike Peters / Alarm shows around the world is not going to happen now until January 21st 2022 when I will lead the band out on to the stage at Cardiff’s St. David’s Hall to celebrate 40 years of Alarm History. In the mean time, I’m so grateful to have these Alarm Staycation Weekends to focus on, these events have been incredible so far, allowing me to maintain my musical focus and by performing ‘request driven’ acoustic concerts in the style of mini Gatherings, able to spend quality time with the fans and sharing stories and experiences from the story of The Alarm 1981 – 2021”
The Alarm Experience 40 is totally in keeping with the spirit of the band’s annual Gatherings, that were built on 28 years of artist / audience role reversal, with fans undertaking the travelling while Mike Peters stayed at home in order to create an unforgettable weekend concert experience.

The first of the Alarm Experience 40 events began on the weekend of July 1st 2021, and each weekend has been met with unanimous praise from all who have attended. Because of the demand now that people have been able to experience first hand, the luxurious Chapel apartments and Penthouse the experiences will now continue throughout 2021 and on into the beginning of 2022 when the band will be rehearsing for the forthcoming 40th Anniversary Uk Tour.
As part of The Alarm Staycation 2021, The Big Night In broadcasts each week, telling the story of Mike Peters and The Alarm in the words of those who lived through all the historic events from 1981 – 2021.
Alarm Staycationing fans have been treated to a champagne GaTHURing arrival on the Thursday evening, where participants are then shown to their luxury apartment and given a guided tour of the facilities. The apartments are each named after albums from the Mike Peters and The Alarm Discography. The Sunday morning informal photo app and signing session with Mike Peters in front of the spectacular Dyserth Waterfall has also become a very special part of the weekends experience.

Each Alarm Experience 40 apartment will contain a special collectors edition CD that will only ever be available to those staycationing at The Alarm Experience 40 Chapel Studio at Dyserth Waterfalls.
Upon arrival, there will be a special Alarm collectors map and information welcome pack which will guide attendees through The Alarm’s living history, with all the historic Alarm sites marked out, from the Mike Peters statue at Rhyl Harbour to the secret site of The Alarm’s Love Hope Strength Sanctuary.
The Alarm Chapel was stone built in 1823, and boasts many of its original features with stunning private gardens to the rear.
The historic, picturesque village of Dyserth is situated in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has a population of approximately 2300, featuring 2 local pubs (favoured by Mike & Jules!) and it’s very own Waterfalls! The Village of Dyserth is even mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086!

All Bookings include a three night stay from Thursday evening through to Sunday morning. Also included, is an invitation to the Friday night Big Night In / Alarm Central live broadcast studio session with Mike and Jules Peters, together with best seats in the house for the Saturday evening acoustic concert with Mike Peters at Dyserth Hall.
