Monday 17th October 2005 2.00 am and I’m still in the taxi en route to Exeter. Check into the hotel at 3.00 a.m. The ‘alarm’ goes off (sorry!!!) at 6.15 a.m. and at 6.55 we are on a train bound for London Paddington station. 9.15 a.m. and and a taxi takes us to Abbey Road.
