Love Hope Strength is a cancer charity that runs bone marrow donor drives at rock concerts through a program entitled ‘Get On The List’ that has  signed up over 90,000 people to the international registry and located almost 2000 potentially life saving matches for people who, like Mike Peters, suffer from Blood Cancer.

To record The Scriptures, Love Hope Strength called upon artists, poets and celebrities from around the world to contribute lyrics to the song that was recorded by other artists and members of the public who became involved through a Pledge Music Campaign (www.pledgemusic.com) that ran throughout 2014.

Recording sessions took place at studios in Israel, New York, Los Angeles and at the World Fanous Abbey Road Studio 2 in London.

The project was conceived to help fund the continuing work being done by the Hadassah Bone Marrow Donor registry in Jerusalem that is acting as a bridge of peace in the Holy Land by helping save lives across the middle east and beyond. The registry is run by a special woman named Dr. Amal Bishara (An Arab Christian), who has already helped to save over 20 people from her first 20,000 registrations. The Hadassah Regsitry is based at the Ein Karem Medical Centre in Jerusalem which was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize because of it’s non-political stance in helping patients from all over the Middle East regardless of ethnicity, background or nationality.
