The Alarm – Guerilla Tactics In The UK – Ticket Information

Throughout November 2008, The Alarm will undertake a UK residency tour billed as ‘Guerilla Tactics In The UK’.

The Alarm will perform three separate shows in four major UK cities (Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and London), over three weeks.

Beginning on Thursday 6th of November in Cardiff at The Point, the band will then head North on Friday 7th of November to perform at Glasgow’s legendary King Tuts. The next night, Saturday 8th of November will see The Alarm in action at Manchester Academy before moving south to the capital city of London for a Tuesday 11th of November concert at Islington Carling Academy. This entire sequence will be repeated for a further two weeks with, most importantly, the band playing different sets each week. [See below for full tour details].

Ticket prices are 15 for each show. [Booking fees apply]
NB: Buy tickets for all three shows in one city and receive a special commemorative Tour Laminate Pass (plus benefit from a reduced booking fee). Here at we endeavour to keep the booking / postage fee as cheap as possible.

Mike Peters describes the event as a natural extension of the Saturday Gig campaign that has been so well received during the last few years. The tour is based on ‘The Alarm Make A Stand In The USA’ tour that was so successful back in late 2003.

It creates a platform for the band to play songs from all eras of The Alarm’s career, from ‘Unsafe Building’ to ‘Guerilla Tactics’.

“Playing three nights in each city allows us to show the full range of our abilities as a band and take some of the spirit of The Gathering with us out into other parts of the U.K.” says Mike Peters. “It’s well known that we have a huge arsenal of songs at our disposal in The Alarm and ‘Guerilla Tactics In The U.K.’ will allow us and the audience to embrace songs from The Alarm’s back pages and get up close and personal with the energy driving The Alarm’s music of today”.
