Day Fifty Eight : Saturday 6th August 2005
Today is Alarmstock Abbey Road. The idea is that while I am performing the shows in the live room downstairs at Studio 2. The engineer Chris Bolster will work on a new mix of ‘This Is The Way We Are’ upstairs in the control room. I suppose that after James phone call, I decided that we had nothing to lose but to try and remix tracks in all three studios I will be visiting over the next three weeks as Alarmstock takes me to New York and Los Angeles. The mix Chris comes up with for ‘This Is The Way We Are’ is tremendous and is a big improvement on the Doghouse mix. At the same time, Pete Walsh completes the mix of ‘Without A Fight’ at Ark studios in Surrey.
