The first version of “Blaze Of Glory” is recorded with Mick Glossop in Redan Studios, London. The song was written as a defense for their new friends U2, who were being attacked in the press. “Thoughts Of A Youngman” is also recorded.
6/29/1983: The Alarm, The Metro, Boston Summary The Alarm opened for U2 at Pier 84 in New York earlier in the evening (the final night of the War tour) & then played a “warm-down” show later that night, with the show starting after 12:00 midnight.
