This year, The Gathering Friday night session will feature a special film presentation that looks back on all the Mike Peters / Alarm events that took place in 2015.
A rough cut movie (which will play from 7:3o until Mike Peters takes to the stage), utilises film clips sourced from within the public domain and also official and non-officially sourced material.
The movie collage will be accompanied by a special music soundtrack curated especially for the occasion by Mike Peters.
The sound track features a host of contemporary bands and music from the same time the Alarm was beginning to find it’s way into the world including, Comsat Angels, The Sound, The Bolshoi, Sisters Of Mercy, Psychedelic Furs, Echo & The Bunnymen, New Order, U2, Gene Loves Jezebel, Balaam And The Angel, Simple Minds, Flesh For Lulu, New Model Army to name but a few.
