Mike Peters is pleased to announce the publication of his autobiography LOVE 1959 -1991 which is part one of an autobiographical trilogy entitled LOVE HOPE STRENGTH.
Every word has been written entirely by Mike Peters personally and Volume One Love 1959 – 1991 will be officially released on November 1st followed annually by Volumes two and three over the course of the following years.
“I am honoured to have been given this opportunity to write the account of my life” says author Mike Peters.
The publishers, A Way With Media and editor Andrew Richardson have allowed me the scope and space to tell my story, the way I have always dreamt of. Most ‘life’ autobiography’s are condensed into approximately 90,000 words or so and as an archivist, diarist, documentary and completist that wasn’t for me. Andrew and A Way With Media have been brave and committed enough, to set me, my archive and my pen free to tell the story the way I have lived it and not to be edited down or discouraged from telling all the stories and laying out all the facts of the life I have been blessed to walk through.
Volume One alone involved the writing of approximately 158,000 words. No stone has been left unturned and in doing so, I hope that you will be able to follow and walk with me through the saga of my musical and home life, relive the incredible highs and lows of my musical adventures and to fully understand what has driven me to make life-changing decisions, survive adversity and stay alive long enough to tell the tale.”
Over the course of the next three years, the Love Hope Strength Trilogy will present a complete, accurate and thorough document of Mike Peters’ entire life and the passage of time that Mike Peters has lived through.
The 158,000 word VOLUME ONE takes listeners on a fascinating journey through the 60’s, 70’s documenting the dramatic rise of The Alarm in the 1980’s and into the early 1990’s
