Record Store Day and the release of the brand new The Alarm = Where The Two Rivers Meet EP is almost upon us, and on Saturday April 21st, every Alarm fan throughout the world has the opportunity to win one of six unique Two Rivers [Acoustic Version] 7″ singles that are being recorded and pressed direct to Vinyl by Mike Peters as he sets out on his epic 24 Hour Transatlantic Tour.
To Win – all you have to do is wear and share a photo wearing your favourite Alarm T-Shirt and post it online via Twitter, Instagram or Facebook using both the following hashtags #RSD18 & #RSD18THEALARM
Thealarm.com team will be monitoring all posts throughout the day with the best photo being selected by Mike Peters himself. Mike will then announce the lucky winners name at midnight (PCT) / 8.00 AM UK Time, via the Video Film that is being created to capture the events of the day and posted online via the Record Store Day Website and the Offcial Alarm YouTube channel.

All Alarm fans who are coming to the Listening Party to celebrate the release of The Alarm = Where The Two Rivers Meet EP with Mike Peters, will also have the chance to win one of six unique 7” Vinyl singles that are being recorded especially for World Record Store Day. Lottery tickets will be handed out to each person upon entry into the venue (Le Public Space, Newport), and Mike will draw a winner at the end of the acoustic set and will present the lucky person with the record personally. Throughout the course of the evening Mike Peters will premiere the new EP and also a couple of tracks from the forthcoming June 29th album release plus performing an acoustic concert and signing the collectors inner sleeves in person. At midnight on the morning of April 21st – Record Store Day, Mike Peters will hand over a unique 7” Vinyl single that will have been recorded a few hours earlier to a member of staff. The shop officially opens at 9:00 AM and the single will be inside one of the first ten copies sold to Alarm fans who are wearing an Alarm T-Shirt. All copies of the Where The Two Rivers Meet EP sold during the day to Alarm fans (wearing Alarm T-Shirts), will be given a unique inner sleeve signed by the entire band, so make sure you ask at the counter when making your purchase! At 4 AM on the morning of April 21st – Record Store Day, Mike Peters will be outside Rough Trade East Record Store at 91 Brick Lane, busking to the line of record collecting aficionados and handing over to a member of staff, a third unique 7” Vinyl single that will have been recorded and pressed onto vinyl just a few hours earlier. The shop officially opens at 9:00 AM and the single will given out during the day to one lucky fan who turns up and buys the new EP wearing an Alarm T-Shirt. At 1.00 pm (EST), on the afternoon of April 21st – Record Store Day, Mike Peters will arrive at Looney Tunes Record Store in Babylon, New York to celebrate the release of The Alarm = Where The Two Rivers Meet EP and jump straight onto the stage to perform an acoustic set. All Alarm fans attending who bring along and wear their favourite Alarm T-Shirt will have a chance to win one of the six unique 7” singles that Mike Peters will have recorded in London hours before leaving for the USA. All Alarm T-Shirt wearing fans will be given a lottery ticket with the lucky winner being announced by Mike Peters at the end of the set. Following a mad Record Store Day dash from LAX airport, Mike Peters will arrive at Fingerprints Records, Long Beach California ready to perform a full on acoustic set armed and ready to celebrate the release of The Alarm = Where The Two Rivers Meet EP at 8.00 pm (PCT), on the evening of what will have already been a very long April 21st. All Alarm fans attending who bring along and wear their favourite Alarm T-Shirt will also have a chance to win the last official copy of the six unique 7” singles that Mike Peters will have recorded in London at the outset of his epic journey. All Alarm T-Shirt wearing fans will be given a lottery ticket with the lucky winner being announced by Mike Peters at the end of the set. Mike Peters will also be carrying an amount of Where The Two Rivers Meet signed inner sleeves which will be given to all in attendance. Mike Peters will then sign copies of the EP before heading off to finish and edit the ‘Fly On The Wall’ Video of the day’s adventures that will be post online at midnight for all to see.
