‘ALARMSTOCK’
An acoustic explosion with Mike Peters in the William Aston Hall, NEWI
(North East Wales Institute), Wrexham, North Wales on bank holiday
weekend Saturday and Sunday 23rd and 24th of August 2003.
Due to increasing public demand and the fact that next years Gathering
has almost sold out, MPO is pleased to announce: ‘Alarmstock’ – 2 Days
of Peace, Tolerance and Acoustic Rock and Roll with Mike Peters’.
Designed as a ‘Sister’ event to The Gathering, ‘Alarmstock’ promises
to be an intimate two day affair in the company of Mike Peters – The
Voice Of The Alarm. Mike Peters will perform eight separate sets
featuring songs from all four decades of his musical career – a
festival of ‘The Alarm’, ‘Seventeen’, ‘Coloursound’ and ‘In The Poppy
Fields’.
‘Alarmstock’ will also feature some very special ‘Friends of The
Alarm’ who will make guest appearances throughout both day and evening
concerts. (More details will be announced closer to the date of
‘Alarmstock’).
‘Alarmstock’ wll have an all day bar with late license. Food will also
be available on site plus D.J.’s and in-house ‘Cinemalarm’.>

Anyone arriving at ‘Alarmstock’ early on the Friday evening will be
welcome to visit the ‘Alarmstock’ bar free of charge. There will be
music and videos and a chance to settle in before the main proceedings
