In the tradition of the show must go on:
Since today’s earlier announcement regarding Alarm
lead-singer Mike Peters flying home to Wales to be by
the side of wife Jules for the imminent birth of the
couple’s first child, the three remaining members of
the band have decided to carry on and play for the
dedicated Alarm fans in Texas, with an unusual invite:
Current Alarm members James Stevenson (The Cult, Gene
Loves Jezebel), Craig Adams (Sisters of Mercy, Mission
U.K., The Cult) & Steve Grantley (Stiff Little
Fingers) will continue on the planned tour with the
Psychedelic Furs, and invite talented Alarm fans to
have their own moment of Rock-star stardom by standing
in as vocalist for father-to-be Mike Peters.
So, Alarm fans, sip that tea with lemon, break out the
vaporizer to get your voice ready, and join the Alarm
at these concert dates for your chance to be a Welsh
idol.
