Mike Peters is launching a campaign to write and record the World’s Longest Officially Released Song and needs your creative input to help him complete the task and break the current Guinness World Record of 90 minutes and 10 seconds.
This is a unique opportunity for Alarm fans worldwide to appear on a recording with Mike Peters and members of the band plus a host of other Love Hope Strength supporting artists.
By pledging your support to this record breaking Love Hope Strength / PledgeMusic campaign, you will also be directly helping Mike’s charity Love Hope Strength save lives.
As well as pledging to order a CD or Download edition of the finished record-breaking song (which will be called The Scriptures), you can:
- Help write the actual song itself by pledging a word or lyrics for the estimated 75 verses that will be needed.
- If you are a musician or singer then you can record directly onto the track at various recording locations worldwide (including Abbey Road), or remotely from the comfort of your own home or studio
Everyone who contributes to this historic recording will automatically become part of the songwriting credits on the CD and recognised as an official world record holder.
Funds raised will be donated to the Hadassah Bone Marrow Donor Registry in the Holy Land which is building bridges of peace by finding life saving matches for blood cancer sufferers throughout the Middle East and beyond.
